How do you celebrate 350 years of history? With a special walking and tasting event with Salem Food Tours, of course! Proceeds from the walking and tasting tour will benefit preservation and education programs at the House of the Seven Gables.
We’ll start at the the House of the Seven Gables at 2pm with a 17th century food demonstration and toast to the big anniversary year. Continue down Derby Street and through historic Salem, sampling delicious offerings around town, while learning about the unique connections to spices, rum, trade, and more.
Kindly note this delicious tour runs rain, snow, or shine and is a full walking tour which includes a cheese, wine, sweet, spice, savory and chowder tasting, no sit-down stops, ending around 5:30pm ish.
