Author and archivist Richard Hite and North Andover Middle School social studies teacher Carolyn LaPierre have put civics into action. During the school year of 2019/2020, students worked with Massachusetts legislators to exonerate Elizabeth Johnson Jr. of all charges of witchcraft she was convicted of during the 1692 Salem witch trials. She will be the last person to have those charges repealed.

This event will be held as a virtual Zoom meeting: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/72673613895?pwd=UlJzOXlTRE5Majlrc1J2WWZkZTZBZz09
