Homeschool Program: Good Bones – Architecture in Salem

June 10 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Phillips House, 34 Chestnut Street, Salem, MA

Explore two completely different Historic New England properties located just a few blocks from each other in Salem! The 1665 Gedney House is one of the oldest still standing in Salem. Inside, it is unfurnished and undecorated, giving us a clear view of how it was built. We will examine the architectural details of Gedney House carefully and then return to Phillips House and use our freshly trained eyes to see in a whole new way!

Historic New England members $20; Nonmember $25. Log in or Join now to have your discount applied at checkout.

Ages 7-14
