Explore some of Historic New England’s 17th Century homes on this day-long program!

Join the Salem and Newbury Site Managers, Abigail Stewart and Shanna Sartori, to take a deep dive into the architecture and history at Gedney House, Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm, and Swett-Illsley House. You’ll be able to get up close to the structures and visit parts of the houses not often on view while learning about the region’s architecture and what it takes to preserve these special properties.

Please note that this program involves walking about 2 miles and climbing multiple stairs. There is limited seating in the houses.

Lunch is provided at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm. If you have individual dietary needs, please call before May 19.

All participants are responsible for their own transportation.
